The International Scientific Advisory Council of “DIHAD” (DISAP) granted His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the Best International Personality Award in the Field of Humanitarian Relief – DIHAD 2021, as international recognition for his continuous support and his sincere efforts. In promoting international humanitarian and relief work, and in appreciation of the UAE’s pioneering role in providing medical aid and supporting the needy around the world, especially in light of the world witnessing the repercussions of the Corona pandemic.

The award is considered one of the high-profile awards given by the International Scientific Advisory Council to DIHAD / DISAP / in the fields of global humanitarian relief, in recognition of international figures and leaders who play a prominent role in supporting the needy around the world and international institutions and international organizations working in the fields of humanitarian relief.

Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, received the award on behalf of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan from Ambassador Gerhard Putman Kramer, Director of DIHAD and the International Scientific Advisory Council (DESAP), on the sidelines of an exhibition and conference Dubai International for Relief and Development «DIHAD», whose activities were launched today at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center.
During the honoring ceremony, Gerhard Putman Kramer, Chairman of the Global Scientific Advisory Council (DISAP) of the Dubai International Conference on Relief and Development (DIHAD), spoke about the UAE’s efforts in supporting global humanitarian efforts during the Corona pandemic. He pointed out that 80% of the aid to the affected countries, during the “Covid-19” pandemic, was launched from the UAE, where international and international institutions and organizations managed it through its regional offices and warehouses in the Emirates, where it obtained all forms of support to provide these aid to the beneficiaries. He mentioned that 1.7 million tons of medical aid had been transported to 120 countries, pointing to the UAE’s distribution of 10 million doses of the new Corona virus vaccine to many friendly and brotherly countries.
