His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Chairman of the Executive Council.

His Highness was born March 11, 1961, in Al Ain, he is the third son of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahayan — the revered founder of the UAE. His Highness played an active role, participating in the development of the emirate of Abu Dhabi for more than three decades where it witnessed a rapid economic and social transformation.

His Highness is known, and for a long time, to be the directing force behind many initiatives that contributed into supporting and enforcing the security of the emirate of Abu Dhabi, and motivate its economic growth and diversity. 

A keen hunter and a poetry enthusiast, he is married to fellow royal Sheikha Salama bint Hamdan Al-Nahyan — the couple has four sons and five daughters.

In 2019 the New York Times named him as the most powerful Arab ruler and one of the most powerful men on Earth. He was also named as one of the 100 Most Influential People of 2019 by TIME magazine.
