Sheikh Mohamed affirmed the long-standing relations between the two nations and said the UAE is looking forward to further growing these relations over the coming period.
ABU DHABI--The United Arab Emirates will invest $3 billion in Iraq, it said in a joint statement at the end of Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Kadhimi’s visit to UAE.
They touched on the 'Green Middle East' initiative, announced by the Saudi Crown Prince, which aims to plant 50 billion trees in partnership with the countries of the region.
The two sides also reviewed the UAE-China relations and the comprehensive strategic cooperation between the two countries, as well as ways to further develop investment, economic, scientific, and cultural ties. The two leaders also discussed regional and international developments.
Sheikh Mohamed prayed for the late Sheikh Hamdan, and said the UAE lost a loyal and patriot today.
